Description
Summary:This paper aims to understand the transformations occurring in the Pampa due to the territorialization of soybean, by analyzing the impacts of these changes in the territory, especially regarding the insertion of agriculture farmers and livestock family farmers in this production system. The analysis space is concentrated in the border of the cities of Santana do Livramento/BR and Rivera/UY. Methodologically, we carried out a qualitative research based on secondary data, bibliographical and documentary research, as well as field research with family farmers and technicians. The results identify a territorial reconfiguration of the rural space, especially for the implantation of soybean culture, minimizing the historical participation of cattle production in that region.
