Summary:The analytical solution is helpful for understanding the mechanism and physical impacts and validating a numerical method through the model issue. This paper is devoted to developing analytical solutions for the problem of magnetic polymer transport in porous media. The mathematical model has been firstly developed then the analytical solutions have been obtained. The magnetization is treated as a nonlinear function of the magnetic field strength. The effects of the parameters of magnetic/polymer/rock on the polymer concentration, pressure and velocity have been investigated. It was found that the magnetization enhances velocity and concentration; and has a significant effect on concentration for high permeabilities. Also, it was found that for high permeabilities the advection dominates, but for lower permeabilities the diffusion dominates. As the adsorption rate increases the polymer solution concentration decreases.
