| Summary: | “Lyric tradition” was put forward by Chen Shixiang, a scholar in the United States, in a speech in the 1970s.It became a view of the characteristics of Chinese literature, and was developed and widely accepted in the later literary criticism,becoming one of the most productive views of foreign Sinology in the last century.
