Description
Summary:
The objective of this work is to characterize the Marcha de la Gorra (Córdoba, Argentina) as a collective youth action that constitutes an experience capable of housing processes of political subjectivation, paying particular attention to the subjective construction of the territory that it entails. This March is an annual mobilization that has been carried out since 2007 and whose central demand is to make visible and denounce the various forms of police abuse against young people and the popular sectors of Córdoba, as well as the unequal regulations on public space that prevent its free circulation through the city. Moreover, it concludes with a series of reflections about the vicissitudes and innovations that are presented in the last four editions of this collective action in virtue of the contextual transformations. This is a qualitative study whose general methodological strategy is the ethnography of event, incorporating techniques such as participant observation, ethnographic and autoethnographic records, “ongoing conversations” and in-depth interviews.
