Description
Summary:The purpose of this paper is to observe interrelationship between specific historical event (ideological assasination as revolutionary and terrorist practice during of First Russian Revolution 1905) and ideological assasination as central element of topical structure of The Pale Horse (1909; 1913), novel of Boris Viktorovich Savinkov (pen name V. Ropshin). As in the other novels of Savinkov-Ropshin, topic of The Pale Horse is heavily based on actual historical circumstances and absorbs string of specific historical events in which the author of the novel, member of Socialist Revolutionary Party, played active role as organiser or executor of the actions. Historical subtext is illustration of ideological plan of the novel whose base is reviewing the question of „right“ on someone’s else life, i.e. ethical side of ideological assasination.
