The Triumph of Ambiguity: Norwegian popular journalism. A revisiting.
In this article, characteristics of Norwegian popular journalism are investigated through revisiting a socio-historic analysis. Through fundamental popularization processes, the newspapers Dagbladet and VG have established trendsetting journalistic profiles by nurturing specific kinds of newspaper schizophrenia. By virtue of journalistic re-orientations, new publishing platforms, and audience involvement, Norwegian popular journalism has survived. |
