| Summary: | <div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p><span>The article deal with a thematic visit, proposed in the fifth educational and professional bringing up to date journey, organised by the Master in Paesaggistica of the Florence University, on 23 july 2005, to Villa San Pedrino park in Varese, where Pietro Porcinai did landscape settlements from 1953 to 1957. In the early Fifties Silvio Mazzucchelli asked the florentine landscape architect for designing the most tecnological and specialized parts in Villa San Pedrino’s park: the orchid’s glasshouse, the winter garden and the technical grouop formed by the compost heap and the loam’s store, the rose garden and the rock garden. </span></p></div></div></div>
