On the basis of available data, the paper shows tendencies of an increase in numbers and forms of high-tech crime and identity theft at the national and global levels. It also discusses possible development of new methods and techniques for identity theft and upgrading of the existing ones, and the consequences of their use for committing criminal offenses. |
