Summary:Through the analysis of the meshing principle of globoidal indexing cam,combining with the structure characteristics of the five axis NC machine,the cutter location control equation of the equivalent machining of globoidal indexing cam on five-axis NC machine is deduced by the method of coordinate transformation.On the basis of this,the offset direction and size of offset of cutter location compensation method is deduced according to the principle of midpoint offset,and finally the five coordinates cutter location control equation in non-equant machining of globoidal indexing cam is deduced.It can be programmed to calculate the machining data of the cam,and the non-equant machining of globoidal indexing cam by using five-axis NC machine is realized.
