description This article examines the forms of written and visual record of the events of a contemporary argentine political scene: the return of the leader Juan Domingo Perón to Argentina after 17 years of exile and proscription. It considers three texts that deal with the issue and whose authors were contemporary to the events: a non-fiction account, two photographs and a testimonial memoir. The article attempts to give an account of the way in which the three formats pierce the purposes of documentation and classical research and work with deviations, as well as with topics and resources that are difficult to classify.
