Summary: | Cyberbullying has been identified as an important issue among adolescents in the last decade. It has become more frequent as teenager use electronic devices such as computers and mobile phones. However, a large number of measures are taken to prevent this negative phenomenon.
Purpose. Study of the phenomenon of cyberbullying, comparison of its prevalence with traditional bullying and consideration of types of copping strategies, determination of effective methods to fight cyber bullying according to the participants of this process.
Method or methodology of the work. The study of literature on the problem, analysis, testing, synthesis and interpretation of findings.
Results. Cyberbullying exists in Russia, although the number of incidents is still quite small compared to traditional school bullying. According to teenagers, the most effective methods of dealing with bullying is independent confrontation or attraction of friends.
