description | Introduction: Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory skin disease that affects about 1-3% of the world population. Clinical manifestations of psoriasis are numerous and include various forms of potential overlaps in the clinical presentation of the disease. Material and Methods: The retrospective study analyzed 122 medical records of patients treated at the Clinic for Dermatology (KDV) KCS in the period from January 2011 to December 2015. Results: From a total of 122 patients, 62.3% had Psoriasis pustulosa palmoplantaris 18.85% Psoriasis vulgaris disseminata cum pustulatione, 12.3% Psoriasis pustulosa generalisata, and 6.56% Psoriasis annularis pustulosa form. The percentage of 93.3% of patients with generalized pustular psoriasis of any form, is treated with Acitretin; 69.5% of patients with disseminated Psoriasis vulgaris cum pustulatione; 87.5% of patients with an annular form, while 66% of patients with palmoplantar form were treated with antibiotics. The average age was 52 years, with a higher incidence of female patients (77.9%). Psoriatic arthritis had 9% of the patients, while the Psoriasis vulgaris was detected in 40.2% of patients. Conclusion: The results of our study indicate that the most commonly diagnosed form of pustular psoriasis in our patients was Psoriasis pustulosa palmoplantaris. Psoriatic arthritis was diagnosed in 9% of patients, and Psoriasis vulgaris in 40% of patients. The most commonly used drug was Acitretin. |
