Summary: | To understand the city it is necessary to consider its production dynamics and growth through urbanization process transformations, comprehending the elements that shape the urban space production and structuration. Therefore, it is necessary to take in account the capital reproduction process, whole society and quotidian. In this way, it is possible to identify and evaluate the urban concentration areas, in other words, the centrality. The city spatial organization changes show the appearance of new areas with significant commercial and services activities and whole flow that reflect the centrality. In this process, occur the discontinuity of the city territory and the creation of new spaces representing the fragmentation. At least we have the production of interior spaces in the cities with specific functions as: production, consumption, home, and others one that influence in the value of these areas. In the case of this research the objective was to study the production e reproduction of urban space discussing the centrality question and searching to comprehend these new concentration areas. |
