Description
Summary:This paper first presents the basic characteristics of international terrorism, in order to briefly meet with this complex phenomenon which nowadays is a huge threat to many countries in the world. Further the text puts emphasis on international cooperation and its role in the suppression of terrorism. Police departments in some underdeveloped countries do not have the network and resources that would effectively confront international terrorism, and that is precisely where we should look for the reason for connectivity and closer cooperation of the police forces of different countries, promoting partnerships and timely exchange of useful information. One of the questions that needs to be answered in the course of this work is how to improve and enhance police activity in order to combat terrorism at the international level. The presentation will emphasize and clearly define the place and role of police in international police relations and multinational operations, as well as strengthening the cooperation between the police of different countries, all with the aim of increasing productivity and efficiency in the fight against terrorism.
