| Summary: | This work will present the development of the author's master's project, which aims to define and analyze the composition of the parish clergyman who worked in the parishes of Rio Grande, Rio Pardo and Santo Amaro between 1738 and 1807, using the methodology of prosopography. Thus, we intend, in this research, to perceive, based on a sample of 30 individuals, the biographical characterization of the parish clergyman in the context of the consolidation of the occupation of the Continent of São Pedro for the Portuguese Crown, making use of a variation of scales that allows consider trends, individualities, conditions and power dynamics in theformation of this group. |
