description The competitiveness of Serbian economy at the end of the transition process is still unacceptably low. About low level of competitiveness of the domestic economy, says the most striking mark the World Economic Forum for 2014 that Serbia is on the 94th of 144 ranked countries. According to this assessment Serbia is among the European countries located at the bottom of the table. Also, about the poor ranking of our economy is the fact that in our exports, two thirds is exported goods is raw materials and various kinds' materials for further treatment. Poor quality products, lack of certified finished products, a series of small-scale, poorly organized distribution network, unfavorable lending conditions of production, etc., make it difficult for the local economy in the short and medium term to increase its production and thus the opportunities for export. With this in mind, it can be concluded unequivocally that the level of competitiveness of Serbian economy still unacceptably low, although with a tendency of mild recovery.
