Summary:It is imperative for the institutions of professional training to consider competences as the most accurate criterion to assess a professional practice. Attention must be focused on competences that students must acquire by the end of the training; about the construction and the effective achievement of these said competences. The importance of the concept “competence” and its multiple dimensions appears as part of this pragmatic vision.
