| Summary: | The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the level of cultural intelligence and self-efficacy beliefs
of tourist guides on service encounter. In the research, the concepts of cultural intelligence, self-sufficiency and
service delivery were examined and the relationship between these concepts was emphasized. Applying the survey
data were obtained on the active tourist guides in Turkey, and this data is evaluated through statistical analysis.
The result of researh indicates that the participants have high levels of cultural intelligence and mid-level of selfefficacy. In this research, it has been found that there is a positively impact of cultural intelligence on self-efficacy;
self-efficacy on cultural intelligence; cultural intelligence on service encounter and self-efficacy on service
encounter. In this context, practical suggestions were presented in the direction of the research results. |
