Description
Summary:This monograph is dedicated to the critical trend of Spanish contemporary poetry –the socalledpoetry of conscience–, and pays special attention to poet María Ángeles Maeso. By means of acontextual review, we will point out the most relevant milestones within this critical poetry, highlightingthe strategies proposed from this poetic approach as alternatives to the logics of hegemonic powers. In thecase of Maeso, the significance of giving voice and bring to the surface those realities which surround usbut remain unseen is essential to demonstrate the relationships between language and periphery.
