The fundamental issue is the improper movement of cilia, which causes infertility, frequent chest infections, and ear, nose, and throat complaints. A fertile male with Kartagener's disease is a unique case of this rare entity, which we are reporting here. The significance of having a high index of suspicion in such patients cannot be stressed to arrive at an early diagnosis and, whenever possible, provide alternatives for fast treatment and avoid needless symptom evaluation. |
