Description
Summary:While creating dictionaries describing onomastic vocabulary, their compilers regularly face the need to determine necessary and sufficient amount of information that is objectively presented in the content of each onym. The hypothesis offered by the author is based on the interpretation of a family name as being to a certain degree a structural compressed text. This point of view will help to unify the process, to reach the maximum of meaningful content of each entry in the dictionary, if it describes, for example, some Russian family names. The article suggests a new approach to the definition of variability of family names, as well as it reveals their structure and offers a virtual 3D-model of their content, which allows to sketch out the process of the actualization of its components in various acts of verbal communication. The author proves the convenience of that scheme when compiling onomastic dictionaries, which completely corresponds to the demands of modern informative technology.
