In his welcome, Archbishop Lucas connects the series to Omaha’s Archdiocesan Pastoral Vision and thanks conference organizers Reverend Daniel S. Hendrickson, SJ, president of Creighton University, and Daniel J. Misleh, executive director of Catholic Climate Covenant. Archbishop Lucas also shares a letter to conference participants from Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Christophe Pierre who represents the Holy See to the United States and communicates a blessing of Pope Francis upon the conference. |
