| description | This paper describes test that was done in order to balance the synchronous motor rotor installed in plant PAP "Lisina". To perform balancing, it was necessary to slowly rotate the motor rotor up to synchronous speed. This was done by using one of the available generators from the nearby hydro power plant HPP "Vrla 1" to supply motor under test. The synchronous motor is driven asynchronously with a constant U/f ratio during balancing. Before that, the necessary experimental parameters were calculated in order to properly adjust all equipment used. The experiment is illustrated with recorder time diagrams showing the stator speed, voltage and current as well as the current in the synchronous motor rotor during motor run-in. |
