The genome sequence of the Ingrailed Clay, Diarsia mendica (Fabricius, 1775) [version 1; peer review: 2 approved]

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Diarsia mendica (the Ingrailed Clay; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Noctuidae). The genome sequence is 727.9 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochon...

Description
Summary:We present a genome assembly from an individual male Diarsia mendica (the Ingrailed Clay; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Noctuidae). The genome sequence is 727.9 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.37 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 14,077 protein coding genes.
