Summary:Nurullah Ataç, who spent the most productive years of his life devoted to our language and literature in Ankara and who finally closed his eyes in the same city, wrote about the films he watched in the cinemas of the capital on the limited days they were open and the cinematic life of the city in his famous diary, which he kept from January 1953 to May 1957. This work begins with the author’s Diary reminiscences to evaluate his feelings and thoughts about the films he watched in 1950s Ankara and the cinematic life of the city.
