Description
Summary:The article considers characteristics (layer, duration, and intensity) of rainfall in Maritime region, as well as their spatial/temporal distribution. We quote the following data: typification of rains (layer, duration, and intensity) in the course of time; indicators of precipitation reduction by area and time; long-term data on floods in Maritime region. An analysis of the conditions of the formation of rain depending on the synoptic processes, the geographical location of the rainfall area and the characteristics of the underlying surface has been made. A version of the model for the precipitation conversion into runoff is proposed.
