WIT AND HUMOR: THE FORMATION OF PHILOSOPHICAL AND ESTHETIC CONCEPTS IN THE EPOCH OF MODERN
The article is dedicated to epistemological and social causes of concepts «wit» and «humor» semantic reformatting in the early European Modernity. Research is based on the analysis of the philosophical and aesthetic texts of French and English thinkers of the XVI–XVII centuries.
