description | Six types of composite polymeric materials were prepared. Two types of the matrix matter were used (Low density(PE) polyethylene and (PVC) poly chloride vinily ) . Also three types of fibers were used (Short glass fiber, woven roving glass fiber and woven roving nylon-6) . We studied the effect of creep on the above composites which were prepared by hot press method with the same weight fraction (20 wt. %) the results showed that the strain ratio of composites material, which has the same matrix matter of (PE), is less than the strain ratio of the composites material that has the same matrix matter of (PVC),and the composites material [ PE + N- 6(W.R)] displays the best characteristics of creep. |
