Description
Summary:Burnishing is finishing treatment, which uses local plastic deformation. Burnishing consists of hard and smooth operation of the tool (ball) in the surface. Ballizing process (BP) consists of pushing the tool through the opening, wherein the ball is greater in size than the opening of the value of the reduction ratio. The impact of the tool on the workpiece is usually modelled using solutions for the bodies of elastic-plastic and rigid-plastic. Modelling of the burnishing method of the NPS is to determine the impact of a rigid tool with a specific curvature of the deformed object. On the surface the balls contact with the inner surface of the non-alloy steel C45 tube was determined state of strain using commercial program FORGE® based on the finite element method.
