Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to show how the analysis of the human reliability in an industry of high risk can be done by using subjective and qualitative information about factors that influence the human performance. With the help of the theory of the fuzzy sets, there appears a model that allows evaluating analytically the possibilities of human
failures in an oil refinery.
