Summary: | Dostoyevsky and the literary-critical thought of the Silver Age
The article focuses on the way the subjective-artistical and religious-philosophical criticism of the Silver Age interpreted the novels by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Proceeding from a reader’s own “horizon of expectations”, this type of criticism created a mythologised image of the writer, not an objective one, according to characteristic turn of the century reference points, such as religious utopianism, rejection of the world and theurgic intentions. |
