Description
Summary:In the Integral Forest Enterprise Granma 138 parcels of 500 m2 were settled down in Pinus maestrensis Bisse plantations, taking the diameters at 1, 30 m on the level of the floor of all the trees and the height of two trees for class, calculation the half diameter and the half height, were calculated and the volume for hectare was determined. 138 trees type were demolished, and their branches were cut and barked. The volume of each tree was determined by means of the formula of Smalian; the biomass of dry shaft without bark was obtained by means of the multiplication of the volume of each tree by the basic density of the wood of the species, and for the retained nitrogen multiply the biomass of the dry shaft without bark for the coefficient of nitrogen of the species. To estimate the retained nitrogen four regression models were evaluated, where the pattern that better adjustment kindness presented was the logarithmic one, with coefficient of determination and adjusted coefficient of determination of 97,8%, parameters with high significance (P <0,001) and smaller value of index of Furnival.
