This articlepresents how the Ample Frontwas constituted and its main objectives, based on the reading of three journals of that period, Correio da Manhã, Jornal do Brasil and the alternative Folha da Semana. The intellectual representations promoted by these journals about Ample Frontwere analyzed from the theoretical frame offered by Raymond Williams. Thus,it was found that the way the journals and intellectuals thought the Ample Frontas a form of resistance was embedded in the context of the emergence of a structure of feelingof critical liberals. |
