Hal ini demi membantu pengajar menentukan model pembelajaran yang efektif. Dalam mengkajinya, memakai desain post-test only. Hasil penelitian pada kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 69,09 sedangkan kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 61,74. Hasil uji independent samples t-test diketahui bahwa nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,044 < 0,05. Bisa dibuat kesimpulan bila model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament lebih efektif dalam pelajaran Biologi materi sistem koordinasi daripada model pembelajaran konvensional. Abstract: Research used to assess the efectiveness of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning model on students cognitive learning outcomes in Biology lessons on the coordination system material rather than using conventional learning models. This is to help educators determine effective learning models. In this research using a post-test only design. The results of the research in the experimental class post-test average value of 69,09 while the control class post-test average value of 61,74. The results of independent samples t-test are known that the value of Sig.(2-tailed) 0,044 < 0,05. It can be concluded that the Team Game Tournament learning model is more effective in the Biology lesson of the coordination system material than the conventional learning model.
