Description
Summary:In this work two-dimensional boundary element method (BEM) using constant element is mathematically and numerically investigated and applied to solve differential equations of the heat conduction problems and temperature distribution of solid bodies to be found . A computer program in Fortran 90 language is constructed to solve heat conduction problems in steady-state regime by using boundary element technique with constant element . The effects of elements number ( ne ) and internal points number ( np ) of the boundary model on the temperature distribution have been investigated . A more accuracy of results and more near with exact solution are obtained by increasing number of boundary elements and internal points of the boundary model .
