textual strategies. Attention is drawn to I. Bahrianyi’s depiction of the events of the war and the
situation of Ukrainians in the midst of this war, to the combination of artistic and documentary
elements in his works.
The textual strategies in the works of I. Bahrianyi about the war are considered. The problems
of I. Bahryanyi’s works “Circle of Fire” and “A Man Running over the Abyss” are covered in detail.
The function of ekphrasis in these works is analyzed.
Means of creating images are represented. It is emphasized that I. Bahryanyi’s prose about the
war should be reread and reinterpreted again. It has become especially relevant today, during the
russian invasion of Ukraine. |
