description Abstract: Think-Pair-Share Learning, Meta-cognitive Skills and Cognitive Learning Outcomes. The study investigates the effects of meta-cognitive skills based Think-Pair-Share cooperative learning on meta-cognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes of 11th grade students of Senior High Schools in Pekanbaru. The sample consists of 11th grade students of SMA 9 as an experiment group and 11th grade students SMA 10 as a control group. Based on analyzing the data using ANCOVA, the results show that there is a signifi­cant difference in meta-cognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes of the students in the experimental and the control groups, and there is no significant difference between students who have high and low academic levels in their meta-cognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes. Abstrak: Pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share, Keterampilan Metakognitif, dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur pengaruh pembela­jaran koperatif Think-Pair-Share terha­dap keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMA. Sampel dipilih secara acak dari popu­lasi 13 SMA di Pekanbaru. Dengan menggunakan ANAKOVA, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat per­bedaan yang nyata keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa di kelompok eksperimental dan kelompok control, dan tidak ada perbedaan yang nyata antara siswa berkemampuan akademik tinggi dan akademik rendah pada keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitifnya.
