| description | The importance of theinvestigative social networking site: Researchgate services as a means to communicate, sharing of knowledge and experiences among researchers is known. This study aimed to identify expectations of Researchgate, from the perspective of Engineering researchers are members of this network. This study is Survey and descriptive research and the mixed metod was used. The sample consisted of 12 interviews in qualitative and 144 researchers in questionnaire and quantitative research. The results showed that, engineering researchers after Researchgate have highest membership on social networks LinkedIn and GoogleScholar, and on average, each researcher in research social networking sites more than two. In connection with the expectations of Researchgate, the component "associated with citation databases and the use of information according to which" the frequency of the highest importance for researchers. Knowing the number of Cites is very important for researchers, so they expect RSNS reflect reliable feedback from their scholarly activities. also they expect the most suitable criteria to facilitate and accelerate scientific-scholarly activities. |
