Description
Summary:A miniaturized multiband antenna for the Terahertz application is presented in this work. The proposed antenna is structurally simple and compact 0.24×0.24λo at 0.18THz. It is a tri-band antenna with a peak gain at the lower, middle, and upper bands are 4.5 dB, 4.1 dB, and 5.5 dB respectively. In addition, the lowest radiation efficiency in the lower, middle, and upper bands is 73.4 %, 72.9 %, and 53 % respectively. The parametric analysis of the proposed antenna is investigated and presented. The bending response is investigated, analyzed, and presented. The comparative analysis of the proposed antenna shows that it is most compact with suitable gain, efficiency, and bending resonance response. Hence, the proposed antenna is a suitable candidate for multiband Terahertz communications such as wireless body area networks, Imaging, and, the Internet of Things..
