Summary:<p class="Resumen">In Angola, school and family, historically played an important role in the process of socialization of children, adolescents and youth. In the Angolan collegiate institutions are schoolchildren from different ethnic groups and social strata, who are carriers of the culture rooted in the community in which they live. The primary teacher must be well informed about the advances in the sciences, in general and in the pedagogical sciences in particular, occur daily, to be prepared and provide a better service, from the transformation of the pedagogical context in which it participates. The objective of this research is to assess the educational orientation and its impact on the professional preparation of the primary teacher in the province of Huambo, Angola.</p>
