Summary:The paper aims at describing a set of indicators to evaluate the quality of the courses supported on the Moodle platform, whose relevance was confirmed by induction‐deduction, the use of a rating scale, observation, methodological reflection workshops and techniques of descriptive statistics. The proposed system is not only a tool for self‐evaluation in the process of devising the courses in the Moodle platform of the University of Camagüey, but also a challenge to transform teaching methods and procedures; this is a question that requires advisors, managers and teachers’ attention.
