| Summary: | The paper is written to contribute to the topic «Some peculiarities of definitional synonymy in Information Technology blogs discourse». 1500 synonyms of Information Technology blogs discourse were studied. It provides better understanding of cognitive mechanisms, shows the way knowledge interpretation and representation takes place, highlights some virtual discourse peculiarities and contributes to the further development of nomination theory.One of the most important language functions is communicative, which promotes communication in all spheres of human activity. Successful communication in Information Technology discourse is carried out on the basis of a special sublanguage, in which terms and definitional synonyms occupy a significant place. As a result, definitional synonymy takes place. It allows revealing deeper essence of the phenomenon. Different definitional synonym types have different structure and draw attention to different aspects of the term, characterize the meaning of the term accurately. |
