description During the period of the Republic of China, with the progress of printing technology, the application of colour in all kinds of packaging gradually diversified. This paper takes cosmetics packaging in the Republic of China as an example and sums up the common colours of cosmetics packaging. Based on the visual psychology, the paper analyzes the psychological characteristics of cosmetics packaging colour in the Republic of China. It can be seen that cosmetics packaging used colour to convey product information to consumers. Meanwhile, it meets the request of consumers for product colorization.
