Here, we present a case of Type II Diabetes Mellitus complicated with left obstructive ureteric calculi, diagnosed on CT scan to have extensive bilateral emphysematous pyelonephritis of class 4. We treated conservatively with antibiotics and DJ stent. The patient responded and a repeat CT scan was done after 4 weeks which showed no evidence of emphysematous pyelonephritis. |
