The aim of the study – to analyze the factors related to emotional intelligence (EI) and their impact on the efficiency of the nurse. Materials and Methods. The research has developed scientific publications over the last decade, as well as high-citation publications that are available on the Internet network, keywords were "emotional intelligence", "sustainability", "empathy", "satisfaction", "communication", "nursing" care". Results. Communication, EI and empathy are necessary skills in nursing care. These skills can be influenced by different variables, such as working conditions and stress factors. As a positive emotion, job satisfaction improves personal and organizational efficiency, which allows nurses to show greater working enthusiasm and creativity. Empathy and satisfaction with communication also has a positive prognostic impact on the efficiency of work. The higher level of EI in the nurses due to their higher empathy and a stronger sense of well-being, which increases the efficiency of work. The implementation of nursing empathy is based on communication nursing. The higher the level of nurses EI due to its higher satisfaction with communication and the stronger the satisfaction with work, which increases its efficiency. Such an impact of communication confirms that the main purpose of EI nurses is to enjoy communication, which is part of work efficiency. Conclusions. Therefore, emotional intelligence is important for nurses, as it influences their ability to make decisions, clinical judgment and well-being, which directly affects the quality of nursing care |
