Achieving this objective can only by implementing energy efficient solutions that are economically attractive and viable for different industries so that they will be implemented quickly, efficiently and with high impact. The work described in this paper has the objective to evaluate the potential of cogeneration in the industrial sector of Ecuador, using data published by the INEC in 2011.
