description | This paper proposes a cumulative distribution modelling method for pavement performance indexes based on the sampling theorem and implements clustering analysis of similar road sections through the K-means algorithm. The results show that: (1) The modelling method proposed in this paper can convert discrete pavement performance data into a continuous function of pavement performance indexes and a continuous function of pavement performance cumulative distribution and achieve the acquisition of a large amount of pavement performance data. (2) Based on the cumulative distribution and K-means clustering, it is possible to understand the overall pavement performance status of the network and identify road sections with similar decay models and poor decay status for focused attention, which constructed the pavement performance evaluation system of the three-level system of road network–road section–unit road section. |
