Description
Summary:The very rapid evolution of the rural world has led to a profound change in the close and emotional relationship between the peasant and his domestic animals. In some cases, they have practically disappeared. The time is long gone when, spending long days with his horse in the fields, the farmer would have a dialogue, so to speak, with this companion of sorrow. That was my father’s time. Raised in this world, which is now coming to an end, I still remember this language that, for generations, the farmer would use in his dealings with his domestic animals. For us, in the Monts d’Arrée, it was simply the horse, the ox, the pig, the dog, the cat and the poultry (only the hen).
