Summary:In view of the problem that existing monitoring and control system of heavy-media coal separation cannot reflect real-time information to field operating personnel real-timely in Chengzhuang Coal Preparation Plant, the paper proposed a reforming scheme with S7-300 PLC, SIMATIC WinCC and VB6.0 for current minotoring and control system. It introduced communication process of WinCC with VB6.0 and S7-300 PLC. The reformed system achieves a dynamic display of data and monitoring of main parameters through putting a piece of LED display screen in heavy-media coal separation workship, which makes operators on duty finish density control according to real-time data on LED display screen, and all coal separation workshops share information by OPC interface of WinCC, so as to realize centralized control and manage. Besides, cost of the system reform is low by using simple external program to collect and display data.
