| description | The aim of the article is to define the theoretical and methodological foundations and practical basis for the process of forming a new paradigm of regional development, in particular the features of classical and modern theories of regional development in the aspect of the formation of factors for intensifying the social and humanitarian development of entrepreneurship in regions. There noted an increase in the role of humanitarian values and social factors in the economic development of regions in the existing paradigms of regional development, which makes it necessary to concentrate research on the development of the humanitarian and social spheres in close interrelation with economic development. Based on the research and analysis of internal and external factors of the regional economic development, a set of key factors for the development of the knowledge economy in regions is defined. The study of regional approaches to regional development has led to the conclusion that, under current conditions, the existing paradigms of regional development should be improved taking into account the realities of the emergence of new economic systems based on human capital and knowledge, as well as on the introduction of the component of social and humanitarian space of the region into the analysis of regional development processes. |
